Brickstorming is owned and operated by Kristen Klassen. Kristen has been certified as a facilitator in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method by one of the original creators of the method (Robert Rasmussen, Rassmussen Consulting, 2010). She has significant experience using the methodology in both educational and business environments and used the method personally when developing the business model canvas for Brickstorming. She attends the annual LSP facilitators conference to continually improve her skills. She also holds a Phd in Applied Health Sciences and several teaching certificates. In her downtime, Kristen is also a Lego enthusiast, and a member of her local Lego Users Group.
Darrell (B.A., M.S.W.) is a social entrepreneur and former C.E.O. He is a strong advocate for the creation of new economic and social solutions to age old problems through the use of non-traditional approaches. He also believes that play, in virtually any form, can be a powerful vehicle for creating innovation and positive change. Darrell certified in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method in September 2018 (Rasmussen Consulting). Darrell enjoys (seriously) playing Dungeons & Dragons, gardening and fantasy sport drafts, among many other things.
Peter Tonge has been certified in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method since October 2015 (also with Robert Rasmussen Consulting). Peter is a Lego devotee. He regularly builds and redesigns Lego projects. He is also a member of the Manitoba Lego Users Group. Peter likes to give back to the community and is involved in numerous humanitarian projects, both locally and internationally. In his spare time, Peter is an avid sailor who loves to travel.
